A message from Jennifer:

Dating Violence has rapidly increased over the past few years.

"The statistics are shocking, 95% of young women who are abused never seek help and are eight times more likely to commit suicide."

The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence estimates that one-third of high school and college students will experience abuse in a dating relationship. Yet this age group is often overlooked when it comes to abuse prevention and education resources because many view abuse as an "adult problem".

"As a former resident assistant, I have seen first hand the negative effects of violence against women."

Since 2001, I have been an educator and advocate of the prevention of Dating Violence. Since the creation of my original educational program, Dating Violence: Breaking the Silence , I've spoken to hundreds of students in high school classrooms and college residence halls, Greek Events, and also Resident Assistants at RA Orientation.

"Dating violence educational and preventative programs are a must!"

Dating Violence: Breaking the Silence introduces alternatives to students who are suffering due to relationship abuse by outlining a plan of action to end an abusive dating relationship.   Each program is personalized to meet the needs of your students. After the program your students will be able recognize the unhealthy behavioral characteristics of an abuser and also will have the resources and the confidence to end an abusive relationship.
